Sheryl Sandberg: Why we have too few women leaders

Even though 50% of people are women, they are not 50% of people who are at top level in any industries. 15-16% of C-level is women and this figure has not changed since 2002. Even NPO, only 20% of top position are women.

She said that women tend to underestimate themselves. 57% of men entering in company first negotiate for salary, whereas only 7% of women negotiate for salary. If you ask "why did you do a good job?", men will answer "because I am awesome!" and women will answer "because my team helped me"

Believe in yourself and negotiate for yourself!
