Julie Taymor made the novel of Shakespeare into movie. She is theater director originally and was rewarded Tonny Award for Lion King. The feature of her works is brilliantly-colored picture. In this movie also, you can find this feature very easily. The story is set in ancient Rome, however, the essence of modern is used throughout the movie.

The story itself is also interesting. There is emphasis of racism issue.
