Frost/Nixon

This is the film which dramatizes the Frost/Nixon interviews of 1977. David Frost, TV show host, got the interview of Nixon for the first time after Nixon's resignation. Even though Frost paid a lot of money to Nixon for interview, his interview was not successful initially because Nixon was escaping from answering Frost's question and just kept on droning on to waste the interview time.

However, having several sessions of interview, Nixon started to identify himself with Frost. Nixon graduated from Duke University Law School with scholarship. That is to say, He was intelligent but not upper-class. He worked hard for US but he ended up with being disrespected by American. Frost also graduated from remarkable university, Cambridge university but he was neither upper-class. He is talented as well but people consider him just TV show host.

Before final round of interview, Nixon called Frost and told that he found himself and Frost in common. People don't respect them. This interview is the last chance for either to get respect from people. Only one of them can win.

This chatting on the phone call made both of Nixon and Frost to decide to tackle the challenges head-on. In the final round of interview, finally Nixon disclosed his emotion and real opinion.

"When the President does it, that means it is not illegal."
