ＣＰＡ試験後、最初に読み終わった本。この本を読んで、フランスがなんでＣｏｏｌなのか、その理由が解明できた。文化国家であることは、もちろんのこと、イラク戦争への反対、多極世界観など理念外交がとってもＣｏｏｌ。核保有に関しては、フランスと日本で全然意識が違うことがわかった。日本の核不拡散の立場も、結構Ｃｏｏｌだと再認識。
この本の筆者はフランスで大使やってた人なんだけど、やっぱり大使の仕事って華やか～。
ところで、インドにフランス人建築家ル・コルビジェが都市計画した有名な都市があることが判明。チャンディーガル（Chandigharh）というところで、街の愛称は"City Beautiful"。インド国内で最も高い生活水準および収入水準のインド北部の都市。行ってみたいな。

This is the first book which I read after CPA exam. Through this book, I could figure out the reason why France is cool. It is not only because of cultured nation but philosophical diplomacy such as opposition for iraque war and multipolar world view.
I also found the coolness of Japanese position on nonproliferation.
The author of this book is the person who was an ambassador in France. I realized again how much ambassador's job was fancy.
By the way, I found that there is famouse city in India which was designed by Le Corbusier, French architect. The name of this city is Chandigharth and called "city beautiful". It is located in north India and there many rich people live. I want to visit there sometime.
